McAfee Update Process:

Be sure you do not have any open applications (other than your browser) before running this update, and, read all instructions before proceding.

1. Click on this link to Un-install Current McAfee. When prompted, select RUN. You may be prompted to select RUN twice. The process will take several minutes. Numerous Window messages may appear as the application is removed. Look at your harddrive indicator light to be sure the application is being removed.

Note: As soon as you you launch the application, please minimize your browser. Look for the message " You Must Reboot Your Computer to Complete the Process"....

2. Reboot your PC, Log back into our computer and return to this web page.

3. Click on this link to install the new McAfee Agent. If or when prompted, select RUN. When prompted for your Email or Indentifier, enter your First Intitial and Last Name. Example: jdoe. Note: As soon as you enter your First Initial and Last Name, minimize that browswer window.

4. The McAfee Total Protect Screen will launch in a new browser window. Select Install. A second window will appear asking you to confirm the install - select RUN. This second window may be hidden behind the browswer window so please keep all browser windows minimized as soon as you select the Install.

5. A third window to confirm the install may appear - select RUN anytime you are prompted.

7. The install will take several minutes. A window confirming the install should appear reading: Installing Total Protection for Small Business. This process may take a few minutes, please wait.."

8. When complete, there will be a red and white shield with the letter M in it located in the bottom right system tray. Right Click on this icon, and select Update Now.

. Allow you PC to reboot if prompted. Then right click the new McAfee Sheild icon in the lower rigth system tray and select Update.
